New update for GTFS open data

The Department of Transport and Planning (DTP) has recently updated the Timetable and Geographic Information - GTFS open dataset. It now incorporates the same Train Route colours as those shown in the Victorian Train Network Map.

The data now aligns with train line colours shown at interchange stations. It also provides a more consistent user experience with transport apps. Many app providers use this data in their products and this change reflects our growing relationship.

DTP will continue to demonstrate improvements to existing datasets and release new open data in line with State Governments Open Data policy and objectives.
