The Victorian Government is proud to sponsor GovHack 2025, one of the largest open data hackathons in the Southern Hemisphere.

GovHack brings together innovators, technologists, entrepreneurs, students, and community members. Together they explore how government open data can help solve real-world challenges and create public value.

As long-time supporters of GovHack, Victoria recognises the importance of empowering communities, fostering innovation, and strengthening transparency through open data. Each year the event gives people the chance to collaborate across disciplines, discover new insights, and create solutions that benefit society.

By opening access to data, and supporting initiatives like GovHack, the Victorian Government is helping to drive innovation, strengthen digital skills, and create opportunities for better decision-making across communities.

GovHack 2025 will take place between 29-31 August, with participants joining both online and at local event hubs across Australia and New Zealand.
