Unplanned Road Disruptions API Upgrade

The Department of Transport and Planning (DTP) has added two extra date fields to 'Unplanned Disruptions - Road' API:

• endTime - specifies when the disruption is expected to end
• nextUpdateDue - specifies when the next update is expected

These enhancements more closely align this dataset to the CIFS (Closure Incident Feed Specification) data standard.

The data enhancement should ensure more accurate road closure information reaches road users leading to safer and more reliable journeys. This will be particularly useful during major emergencies like floods and bushfires where roads can be closed for extended periods.

DTP is committed to continuously improving existing datasets and releasing new information to support the Victorian Government's Open Data policy and objectives.
