Train Service Passenger Counts

The Department of Transport and Planning (DTP) has released an open dataset on data.vic.gov.au called Train Service Passenger Counts.

This data contains information from mid-2018 about:

  • metropolitan and regional train passenger loads
  • boarding and alighting counts at the trip and station level.

Thank you to the open data community for their ongoing feedback to help us provision the release of this information to support planning, research, and improved business decisions. DTP is continuing to demonstrate its commitment to continuously improving existing datasets and releasing new information to support Victoria's Open Data policy and objectives.
