The Victorian Government has released new data as part of the 2026/27 State Budget. The data covers several key areas, including the overall economy, government revenue, and how departments are performing.

Macroeconomic indicators
The Department of Treasury and Finance forecasts a number of macroeconomic aggregates for inclusion in the budget papers.

Departmental statements
This section provides information about the finances and performance of each department.

State taxation revenue
Taxation revenue is revenue received from the State’s taxpayers.

Aggregate financial statements
Historical data, some going back 20 to 40 years for major fiscal aggregates. Wherever possible, adjustments have been made to make the historical series consistent with the forward estimates.

Other financial aggregates
These datasets provide financial series for a number of general government sector financial aggregates and are updated with each relevant publication, for example, State Budget.

State Capital Program (budget Paper No. 4)
The State Capital Program summarises the capital projects the Government will be undertaking in 2026-27 and future years.
