Improvements to Metro Trains GTFS Realtime data

The Department of Transport and Planning has made improvements to Metro Trains GTFS Realtime data feeds to include the following additional information:

• Trip updates: Schedule relationships, stop ID and route ID will be added as additional fields to enhance realtime trip accuracy.
• Vehicle positions: Route ID will be added as a conditionally required field to improve data details.

Note: the information in the current ‘required’ data fields remains the same; data feeds continue to follow the global standards and specifications. These data feeds are still hosted via the Data Exchange Platform so there are no changes to the API keys.
