GovHack is an annual open government data competition held all over Australia and New Zealand. It attracts over 1,000 participants each year and aims to:
- unite tech enthusiasts, developers, and creatives to use government data to innovate and create,
- encourage and celebrate our technical and creative capacity,
- connect citizens with the government for great outcomes,
- and it builds upon the social and economic value of open data published by government.
