Driver licence transfer data now available

Aggregated count of licences transferred to and out of Victoria. The data will be updated every quarter.

The Department of Transport and Planning (DTP) has released two new datasets to Open Data:

  • how many Driver's Licences were transferred out of Victoria
  • how many driver's licences were transferred to Victoria. It categorises them based on whether they were interstate or overseas transfers, including where in Victoria they are now registered.

Based on external feedback, this newly released dataset will support new and existing Open Data users including councils, research institutions, and businesses. DTP is continuing to demonstrate its commitment to continuously improving existing datasets and releasomg new information to support Victoria's Open Data policy and objectives.
