2024-25 State Budget Data

All data sets incorporate financial information published in the 2024-25 Budget, 2023-24 Budget Update and 2023-24 Financial Report:

• Macroeconomic Indicators - The Department forecasts a number of macroeconomic aggregates for inclusion in the budget papers. The spreadsheet contains the seven published aggregates for the budget papers (Budget and Budget Update).
• State Taxation Revenue - Taxation revenue is revenue received from the State’s taxpayers. The annual series include historical and forecast data published in budget papers (Budget, Pre-Election Budget Update, and Budget Update) and the Annual Financial Report. The quarterly series is a historical series only (incorporates information published to May 2024)
• Other Financial Aggregates - These datasets provide financial series for a number of general government sector financial aggregates and are updated with each relevant publication, for example, State Budget.
• Aggregate Financial Statements - Historical data, some going back 20 to 40 years for major fiscal aggregates. Wherever possible, adjustments have been made to make the historical series consistent with the forward estimates.
